Eve Lorian [lo-ree-an] is a Polish born British conductor, award-winning choral director, producer, performer, vocal coach and educator whose artistic vision and dynamic leadership puts her on the leading edge of the UK’s modern choral landscape. A passionate collaborator and co-founder of Prima Choral Artists, Eve brings over two decades of experience to her multifaceted career, blending musical excellence with a deep commitment to personal growth and community engagement.
At the heart of Eve’s work is a belief in the transformative power of singing and live performance. Known for her expressive conducting style and ability to inspire singers of all levels, she has founded and directed a wide range of ensembles—from intimate chamber groups to large community choirs—championing creativity, connection, and wellbeing through music. Her dedication was especially evident during the pandemic, when she led uninterrupted weekly rehearsals, ensuring continuity, support, and artistic purpose for her singers.
An accomplished vocal coach and multi-instrumentalist, Eve holds advanced academic degrees in Classical Piano, Choral Conducting, and Music Education. In addition to leading Prima, she runs Gem Music Studio, where she specialises in contemporary vocal training and piano instruction. She also serves as an academic tutor at York St John University, teaching Advanced Solo Performance and mentoring the next generation of artists and educators.
Eve’s collaborative spirit has brought her together with national and international choirs, orchestras, soloists, brass bands, and composers. Her productions and performances reflect a unique blend of musical precision and emotional depth, continually pushing the boundaries of choral programming to reach wider audiences and elevate the choral experience.
